Due to District 100’s lack of appreciation for the coach who donated his time to coach Belvidere North baseball, donated his time to developing and maintaining this website, donated the cost of registering the domain name belviderenorthbaseball.com and hosting the site, and donated his time and money to building dugouts that saved the district at least $20,000, this site will no longer be updated.

This lack of appreciation is not exclusive to the coach running this website, but also extends to others involved with the baseball program who have tried to make a difference.  In fact, the lack of appreciation has already cost the program at least $10,000, in the form of a donation which was going to be given to the program.  After seeing this lack of appreciation, the donor decided not to give money to a program run in this manner. That is a sum of money an athletic program that was nearly cut due to budget restraints should be doing anything they can to get.

Belvidere North Athletic Director Karen Reynolds has decided that the best Way to deal with those who seek to improve the baseball program and achieve excellence, rather than simply punch a time clock, is to get rid of them. A middle of the road program is easier to run than the growing pains that may come with a program striving for excellence, and this is the route she is choosing.
